Day of Discovery

Wildlife Safari invites you to join us for our Days of Discovery, a special two-day inclusive event designed for individuals with developmental disabilities (our VIPs) and their families.

Day of Discovery takes place Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th at Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon, just minutes from Roseburg. This unique experience offers guests the opportunity to enjoy our incredible collection of animals up close in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Registration Information:
When registering, please be sure to register as a group rather than as individuals, as admission and event materials are distributed per group at check-in.

Event Check-In:
Upon arrival, one representative from your group should check in at the Admission Booth. Your group will receive drive-thru admission tickets for everyone attending, along with a souvenir bracelet for the VIPs. This bracelet provides access to special discounts throughout the park during your visit.

Drive-Thru Safari Details:
Our famous Drive Thru Safari opens at 9:00 AM, with the last vehicle admitted at 6:00 PM. Please plan your visit accordingly to ensure you have enough time to enjoy this portion of the park. Guests are responsible for their own transportation and meals.

Food Options:
You are welcome to bring your own food and snacks. The Safari Grill will be open from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a variety of food options and ice cream during your visit.
